Throughout the week of the conference registration will be available on-site at the conference headquarters, the Hilton Vancouver Washington.
The full conference rate is extremely cost-effective. It includes all sessions for the week, the plenary, keynote speakers including Wednesday's keynote luncheon with Speaker George Divoky, your choice of field trips on Thursday, the annual Dinner & Awards, and access to all workshops and special sessions throughout the week.

Full Conference Registration includes:
Please indicate on your registration form whether or not you plan to attend the Wednesday, September 16 Awards Banquet and, if you are a current NAA member, whether you plan to attend the Friday NAA Annual Membership Meeting with complimentary lunch. This will help us avoid having food and money go to waste. NAA members: If you decide to attend the Annual Membership Meeting after our September 10 meal-count deadline, you are still welcome but a lunch cannot be guaranteed. One banquet ticket is included in each full conference registration, and additional guest tickets may be purchased through September 10.
Daily registration includes attendance at conference sessions, roundtables and workshops on individual days, session materials, refreshments during breaks and any evening activity on that day, except the Wednesday, September 16, Annual Awards Banquet. The Annual Awards Banquet is not included in any daily registration fee. Tickets must be purchased separately for the banquet for daily registrants and for guests.
For full-time, currently registered students, includes attendance to all conference events at the special student rate. Proof of current student status must be submitted with registration (ID card or current registration receipt). After you have submitted your registration form online, proof can be FAXed to NAA/Action Registration at (360) 254-3581 or emailed in Adobe PDF format.
If your NAA dues are paid in full before or at the time of registration, you are considered a “current” member for registration purposes. NAA members whose membership expires on or before August 31, 2009, or whose membership has lapsed, are encouraged to renew online now at the Natural Areas Association Website. You must include your NAA Member ID# to register at the member’s discounted rate. For NAA members, your ID# is printed on the mailing label above your name (or your agency name) on all Natural Areas Journal, Natural Area News or renewal card labels. If you are unsure of your membership status or ID#, please contact NAA by email or (541) 317-0199.
Members may register up to three people under an Agency Membership. If you are registering more than one person for your agency, please fill out a separate registration form for each person. Additional representatives of your agency/company are of course welcome to attend at the non-member rate. All registrants must include the agency’s NAA Member ID# on their form. Your ID# is printed on the mailing label above your agency name on all Natural Areas Journal, Natural Area News or renewal card labels. If you are unsure of your membership status or ID#, please contact NAA by email or (541) 317-0199.
Anyone who joins NAA prior to registering may take advantage of the members discounted rate. New individual-level members may conveniently join the NAA on their registration form. Agency, corporate-level and other new NAA members may join online or by calling (541) 317-0199.
Family members and guests are welcome to attend the Annual Awards Banquet on Wednesday, September 16. Tickets are $50 per person and can be paid with your registration. Please indicate the number of guests on the registration form. If you wish to pay for a guest after you have already registered, please email NAA/Action Registration or call (360) 314-4900. You may also email special dietary needs for your guests to this address.
Mid-Conference Field Trips on Thursday, September 17, are included with full registration. Space is limited, so these are for registered conference attendees only. All attendees should indicate their field trip preference on their registration form. Note that four of the trips have fees required to help offset costs, and this is paid when you register. If you do not receive your first-choice (fee) field trip, your fee will be refunded to you. All field trip participants will be notified of their field trip assignment in advance of the conference. Descriptions of each trip can be found on the Field Trips page of this website.
Pre-Conference and Post-Conference Field Trips are offered for an additional fee. See the descriptions of each field trip for the applicable cost, which can be found on the Field Trips page of this website.
NAA members receive a discount on registration. Anyone who joins NAA prior to, or while registering, may take advantage of the members discounted rate. Also, the earlier you register, the more likely you are to obtain your desired field trip. After that date registrants will pay the regular rate and receive all of the same conference benefits. Please note that September 9th is the deadline for receipt of all mailed or FAXed registrations; after this date registration will still be available online or on-site at the conference headquarters, the Hilton Vancouver Washington.

All payments are being processed by NAA/Action Registration either by check or online with a credit card. NAA/Action Registration accepts VISA and MasterCard. We cannot accept money orders or cashier checks.
You will receive a quick emailed confirmation after finalizing your registration, if paying by credit card. If paying by check, once the check is received, you will receive your final confirmation/receipt via email.
On-site registration will be available for last-minute attendees. Note that we may not be able to guarantee space for some field trips, the Annual Awards Banquet or some sessions, especially workshops.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by August 17. All cancellations will incur a non-refundable $55 fee. After August 17, no refunds will be given.
