Navajo pottery, and the (in)famous Prairie Fire. Over $5,000 was
raised to benefit NAA. Of course the highlight of any NAC is sharing
in the fellowship of natural area practitioners and knowing that “we
are not alone.” Participants left the conference motivated to protect
and manage biodiversity for another year, or at least until the 34th
NAC in Cleveland, Ohio. Two Thumbs Up!© goes to Ron Hiebert,
Conference Chair, John Vankat, Program Chair, Judy Springer and
Mark Daniels of NAU for organizing the field trips, and Julye Evans
and the rest of the planning committee for arranging and organizing
the facility, program, and events of another successful Natural Areas
Conference.
